VOTE OF CONFIDENCE. By Toleerapb.—Press Association—Copyright Paris, January 17. The Chamber of Doputies, by 540 votes to 6, expressed confidence in the Government. The Premier's (M. Poincare) declaration states that the' Government intends to remain faithful to its alliances and friendships. It would maintain a sincerely pacific spirit, with courtesy and frankness, in its relations with Germany.
