-f 40,000 BERTHS SECURED. B7 Teleeraph—Prtßa Association—OonyriEll London, January 16. Tho' Australian Agents-General hare secured 10,000 berths for emigrants for the year 1912. This is additional to the 30,000 berths arranged for in December last. New South Wales has secured enough berths for all likely requirements, with an ample margin for contingencies. ADDITIONAL STEAMER ACCOMMODATION. (Rec. January 17, 9.30 p.m.) London, January 17. It is expected that the demand for additional accommodation for emigrants will bring five new steamers into tho service this year, and a further five in 1913-H.
