WELLINGTON EDUCATION BOARD,' SUCCESSFTTL CANDIDATES. The. following aro. the result?, arranged in order of marks, of the examination for junior board and junior national seholar--1 ships in the Wellington education district. Class_A is composed of candidates from schools with an average attendance of over 200 pupils; Class Ji of schools with an average attendance of between 31! and 200; and Class C of schools with an average attendance of under 3G. The board s scholarships are of an annual value of ■£.">, where a pupil can reside at home, and 4:10 where a pupil is required to reside away from home in order to attend an approved school. The award of scholarships will not be made until after the announcement' of the Senior Board Scholarship results, but the funds at thp disposal of the board may jiermit of the award of about 17 scholarships to ' candidates of Claps A, about 7 to those of ClnVs B, and .'t to tho-o of Class C. The Wellington education district is entitled to four Junior National Scholarships—one to each of the classes and the fourth probably to a pupil in Class A. •Those will bo awarded at the same time as the Board Scholarships from the following lists:— CLASS A.
