SUPERANNUATION.
-+ ( THE BOARD FOR TEACHERS. A meeting of the Teachers' Superannuation Board was held yesterday. Nine pensions v;ero granted under the ordinary provisions of Section 12 of the i Public Service Classification and Super-H anuuation Amendment Act. 1908; two pensions under the extended provisions of Section. 12 of the aforementioned Act as amended in 1909. One applicant, who is to retire as medically unfit for further service, was granted a pension. The widow of a deceased contributor was granted a refund of the contributions made to the fund by her late husband, and an allowance of ss. per week was granted to her child until ho attains the age of 14 years. Tho widow of another deceased contributor was granted an allowance of ,£lB per annum for herself and ss. per week for her child until • he is M. Nine pensions were granted under the provisions of Part IS of the Education Act, 1508. The deaths of two annuitants were reported. It was decided to change the date of the quarterly meeting from tho third Tuesday in January. April, July, and October, to the third Tuesday in February, May, September, and November.
