METHODIST CONFERENCE.
The nest Methodist Conference will assemble, on Thursday, I'ebrunry-29, iii 7 p.m.,-in Pitt:.Street Church, Auckland. The Examination Committee, as constituted under [Section 11, Itulo 1, page 13, Conference Jfinutes, 1011, will meet on Wednesday, I'Vbrunry 28, in Pitt Street; Church premises at 10 n.m., and tho Ministerial Committee on February 20 at the same hour. ' Arrangements are already well advanced for the conference. The following officials have been appointed man of Committee; ffov. W. Heady; Kocretaries, Kev. A. \. Scotter, 8.A., und Mr. fl. Winstone, jun.; trnasurcr, Mr. A. C. Caiiglipy; convenors of committees: Musical, Mr. W. Aatley; Monies, I!ev. A: (.'. Lawry: Public, PuncHniw. T. Hodgson; Luncheon. Mr. T. \V. .ioni'S; Press, Upv. W; A. Sinclair. Tho new Town Hall, with accommodation for over 3000 person?, has been secured foi' two functions—viz., ■I ho oratorio and the conversazione. "Judas .Maccabeus" is (he selnctrd oratorio. Them, will also bu a, young people's demonstration, missionary morting, and harbour excursion.
