MANAGER'S EEPOKT. . (Hi Telccraoti.-Press Aaseolatlon.i .Auckland, January 15. The manager of tho May Queen mine, f i' his report to tho directors regarding tlio recent fatality, states that the other five men are getting all right. Too much praise cannot be given to Messrs. Crowley, James, Alexander, and Ilerivel for their efforts in rescuing their mates. At present the manager is unable to give any cause for tho sudden in-rusli of gus.
