TRIBAL REVOLT.
IN PORTUGUESE COLONY. By Teleeraph-Press Association-OopyTieht Lisbon, Januaiy 12. The newspaper "Scculo" states that tribes in Northern Angola, an extensive Portuguese colony on the West Coast of South Africa, have revolted. They control tho situation. Several Portuguese residents have been burnt alive. Some previously had to undergo great torture. Tho tribesmen also attacked tho residence of a British merchant at Lunda. The servants at tho place were murdered. The Portngueso authorities aro sending a punitive expedition against the rebels.
