6 . TURKISH GUNBOATS DESTROYED. By Association—CoDyrichl Rome, January 12. The cruiser Piemonte, tho steamer Garibaldino, and tho destroyer Artiglicri intercepted seven Turkish gunboats and tho armed yacht Fauvctto oft Kunfida, Arabia, on Sunday, conveying an expedition to Cyrenaica. The gunboats wero destroyed and the Fauvotte captured after a violent resistance. There were no Italian losses.
