A Board of Trade inquiry reveals a systematic practice of ovcr-insuranco in shipping, whereto point was given by tho foundering of tho Cardiff steamer Dunsley; which wns over-insured .EBSCO, the Court finding that tho loss wns due to default of the managing owner, master, and engineers. The first-named was fined .£ISOO towards tho cost of the inquiry; the master was suspended, ami tho engineers fined.
