THE PRICE OF BUTTER.
WILL IT ADVANCE? For some lime past there have been rumours abroad to the effect that a rise in the price of butter on the local market was imminent. Prom inquiries made yesterday it would appear that the matter has been discussed, hut so far nothing delinite has been decided. \ Those in touch with the local trade, however, make no secret of the belief- that au advance must come shortly.
