The- Hawko's' Bay Transport Company was registered yesterday. It will shortly inaugurate a motor bus service between Frimlcy and Havclock. OTAKI. The Oiaki Bowling Club intend sending three or four rinks to Wellington on Anniversary Day to take part in the annual Junction hold by the.liataitai Club. Repairs have now been otlected to the Kangiuru bridge, and it is now sale for traffic. The Rev. Cecil Smith, and Mrs. Smith, who have been in I'Vilding for several weeks, have returned home. . -Mr. A. A. Lamlall lias bought a homestead and several acres of land from Mr. A. 1. Atkinson, while 11 r. J. W. Popper lias purchased Mr. J. Noble's residence and property. The Otaki School Committee has decided to allow girls of th'o Native Collego to receive instructions in cookery. at the cooking-room in return for the boys of the State School receiving tuition at wood-work at tho Native School. The committee also decided to enlarge the cookery room, to add more books to the library, and to do necessary fence repairs.
