» CURRENT CONFERENCE. Tho conference of waterside workers, which opened at the Socialist Hall on Monday, was continued all day yesterday, and until a late hour lust night. Delegates from Auckland were in attendance yesterday, and visitors from Wanganui attended by courtesy of the delegates. Tlio principal business of the meeting was to draft proposals and conditions of labor.? for submission to the employers and shipowners at the conference which, is to bo held to-day. A reporter was informed yesterday that fho national, agreement of the waterside workers is ono simply between the- unions represented at the conference and 'tho New Zealand Federation of Labour. No other organisations recognised. The agreement is to be signod hy the unions and countersigned by tho federation.
