"A MAD SOCIALISTIC- WAVJi."By Teleffraph-Press Association-Copyright ~ London, January 7. The "Standard" publishes an interview with Mr. E. G. Jellicoc, formerly of Wellington, New Zealand. Mr. Jellicoe says that after revisiting New Zealand lie found all his political views falsified by the working of Socialistic reforms. Individual thrift and enterprise havo been substantially annihilated, and New Zealand is almost on the brink of ruin. Tho Arbitration Acts are spurious, and have resulted in the creation of a host of wellpaid officials, who live by harassing trade and industry.
