JOHN M'CORMACK CONCERT.
Mr. John M'Cormack, who is to appear on a single occasion at tho Town ,Hall, Wellington, on Friday, January 12, is an Irishman. With the beautiful tenor voico that Mr. M'Cormack possesses, he naturally sings Irish ballads with wonderful effect. But it is in grand opera that Mr. M'Cormack has latterly become famous. He is ono of the foremost singers of his typo who have ever visited Australasia. \ It happens that Mr. M'Cormack is passing through New Zealand in order to see the sights of Rotorua. He, however, with not unnaturally somo pride at what he has already achieved, would like to conquer a New Zealand audience also. That is why ho h deterrniiHMl to give everybody an op-* , portunity of being present on tho night on which he will sing in Wellington.
