DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES.
, REPORTS FROM HOME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Palmerston North, January 5. The Glen Oroua Dairy Company received the following cablegram * from Weddel's, London, to-day"First-grade New Zealand salted butter, KIGs.; Danish, 1375.; market excited; further advances expected." Eltham, January 5. Mr. George H. Buckeridge, New Zealand representative of 'Messrs. Henry A. Lane and Co., London, has received cablo advice of the salo of another parcel of Hawera factory cheese which had taken prizes at the Dominion Show at Hawcra, at a price equal to GJd. net to the consignors. This is believed to be a record prico for New Zealand cheese on the Home market, and is 3d. higher than tho prico obtained for the salo of any New Zealand factory output, so that the open consignment is proving tho more profitable this season. This price is 2s. per cwt. better than tho best Canadian was selling at at tho samo time. Indications point to a further hardening of tho cheese market.
