LIQUOR BILL.
DEADLOCK IN QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT. By Tsleeraph—Press Assooi'ition—Oopyriihl Brisbane, January 5. The Legislative Council has considered the deadlock with tho Assembly over the ■Sunday closing and local option clauses in the Liquor Bill, and has decided to insist on its amendments, with the exception that the recommendation that tho local option majority should be reduced from one-third to one-fourth.
