The second of tho 1911-12 series of wool sales is to take place on Wednesday, and indications arn generally in favour of a very successful fixture. At the opening wilts in November there was :i record attendance, of buyers, offerings were large, and prices firm. A repetition of thcbe conditions is promised. NAHEIt WOOL SALES. SUCCESSFUL EESULTS. At tlio first Napier wool sales prices exceeded sellers' expectations, in some cases to the extent of I'd. per lb. 'Top price of tho sale was reached for 19 bales lialfbred, sold on account of the estate of the late W.. H. Small, Fernsido. Otane, which realised lljd. per lb. Tho following clips also sold well, viz:—Mr. G. R. Beamish, Whana Whana, fine crossbred, to lOid.; Mr. A. Bobottoin, Otnno, fine crossbred, to 10d.; Mr. A. A. Small, Oktihu, ■ fine crossbred, to lO.ld. Tho whole- of these clips we're dipped in White's dip. The maker of this preparation does not claim that the above successful rc?ulf« wero directly and totally attributable to the fact that White's dip was used on tho flocks. What lie does say is: "That a man who has tho ability to put a high-class clip on tho market Joes not leave, anything to chance, and ivhen he selects his dip he goes, for .Hie very best that can bo procured." Further information about this ■successful-preparation can' ■bo'obtaincd direct from the manufacturer, William White, Otauo, H. 8., or his agents.—Advt.
