FIRST VOLUME OF THE STUD HOOK.

The council of the recently-formed Uydesdalo Horse Society of New Zealand lias prepared general rules in connection with onirics for the first volume of the stud book. The prncipal rules provide — All entries when lodged become the property of the round!, ami are. received subject to tho decision of the council, to whom is reserved full right to investigate, amend, cr alter, and to publish in tlio original, or in an amended or altered torn), or not to publish, auy or everv pedigree- presented for , entry; and no pedigree lodged with tho council can thereafter bo withdrawn or altered by the entrant or other person, except by the written authority of the council. Ihe last date for issuing schedules at ordinary fees will be March 1, 1912. All entries must be made on the society's official forms.
