Gd. per case, and dessert plums at 6s. to 7s. Tomatoes brought 7d. to Sid. per lb'., French beans od. per lb,, and cucumbers 3s. Gd. to Gs. Gtl. per dozen. Grapes: made Is. od. to Is. 9d. per lb., find gooseberries Is. per case. Other vegetables sold a.s under:—Cabbage, Is. to 6s. Cd. per sack; cauliflowers, {is. to 12s. per sack; parsnips, ss. Gd. per sack; carrots, 4s. per sack; 'heel, is. per sack; white turnips, 3s. per sack; peas, lis. to 12s. Gd. per sack; lottuce (choice), Is. fid. to ss. Gd. per sack: other sorts, Is. Gd. to 35.; asparagus, Gd. to'3d. per bundle. Eggs are firm at Is."id. per dozen.
