' . ■ Dunedin, December 2T. ■ The New Zealand bowling tournament opened to-day in fairly good weather, and the greens were in surprisingly good order considering the climatic conditions prevailing of late. There arc three competitions in the rink match—champion, B, and C—and when playtrs have a certain proportion of losses they drop automatically out of-'the championship class into B, and-later into C competitions.
