OTAGO REGATTA.
(By Telecrauh,—Preas Association.! Ounedin, December 26. The Otago annual regatta was held at Port Chalmers to-day in the' presence of a large attendance.. A fairly strong wind raised : an awkward jobble, Svhich made rowing difficult, but suited tho yachtsmen. The following are the results of the rowing races:— Maiden Double Sculls: Star (Wellington), 1; Union (Christchurch), 2; Timaru, 3. Also started: Duuedin Amateur, North End, Otago, Qtieeh's: Drive;,' -Won by. two lengths. Time, 7min. 30sec. Youths' Fours.—Oamaru, 1; Port Chalmers, 2; Timaru, 3. Also started: Queen's Drive, Dunedin Amateur.- Won by about 10 feet. Time, 7inin. lOscc. ■ Junior Double Sculls.—Canterbury, 1; Union (Christchurch), 2; North End, 3. Also started: Duuedin Amateur, Port Chalmers, Otago. Won by two lengths. Maiden Fours: Queen's Drive No. 1, lj Timaru, Z; North End 1, 3. Also started: Otago, Duuedin Amateur, Port Chalmers, Oamaru 1 and 2, North End 2. Queen's Drive won by two lengths. Senior Double Sculls: Union, .1; Port Chalmers, 2. Also started: Otago. Won by about 12 lengths. Time, Bmin. lOsec. Junior Fours: Canterbury, l;Port Chalmers, 2; Queen's Drive, 3. Won by half a length. Time, 6min. 48sec. Maiden Pairs: North End, 1; Otago, 2; Dunedin Amateur, 3. Also started: Timaru, Queen's Drive. Won by two lengths. Senior Fours: Union, 1; Awarua, 2; Port Chalmers, 3.
