DR. MAW SON MEETS ROUGH WEATHER. Br Telegraph—l'ress Asfocia'ioji—flonyricht Melbourne, December 22. The steamer Toroa, which accompanicd Dr. Mawson's Antarctic exploring ship Aurora to tlio Macquario Islands, has returned. Sho brought back tho crew of tho schooncr Clyde, recently wrecked at tho Island. Tho schooner was owned by Mr. Hatch, of luvercnrgill, lessee of Macquaric Is-laml. The Aurora had a rough trip to Mncquariei Island. She 'encountered heavy seas. Half the bridge was washed away. A seaman was swept overboard, but was recovered by means of a rope.
