In the sheep-shearing contcst, on Lister machines, for tho championship of Australia and .£IOO stake, ten sheep each, thero wore sis contestants from various States, including J. Bicraan, of New Zealand. Bicman was beaten in his heat by Ross, of Victoria, who cut out two and a half sheep ahead. Tha final was between F. Dicman, of South Australia, and Koss. The former finished in 23min. 51 l-ssec., and Ross in 2imin, 12scc.
