It iis stated in shipping: circles that some companies dccliuc to raise interState freights and fares five per centum. It is thought that action will terminate in a friendly arrangement, under which companies will work. The representative of the HuddartParker Company stated that although his company was following the lead in raising rates, tlr; company in future intended to run its own time-table, irrespective of tho other companies.
