THE WELLINGTON CENTRE. A meetins of the Wellington Centre of the New. Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was held last evening, Mr. J. F. Atkius presiding. A request from the Masterton Ladies' Swimming Club for affiliation was granted. The following were elected to be the .Management Committee for tho ensuing season:—Messrs. F. Wilton. R. Healy, J. In connection with the Water Polo Committee's'report,'the following dates have been arranged for the senior and junior grade games:—Senior Grade: Swifts v. Old Boys, on January 10, .it 5.50 p.m.; Thornuon v. Wellington, nn January 13, at 3 p.m. Junior Gratio-. Worser Bay r. Y. M.C.A., on January 13, at 3.30 p.m.; Swifts v. Old Boys, on January 17, at 5.30 p.m.; Wellington v. Thorndoii, on January U, at 5.30 p.m. The games will be played at Te Aro Bat.lis. Replying to a letter from the Wellington Centre, in answer to an invitation in appear in Wellington, the Sydney Swimming Club notified that they had made arrangements for , their team to leave Sydney ou January 17, and appear at Auckland on January 23, 25, and 27. It was suggested that the team could leave Auckland on January 28, and bo in We! : lintjton on tho afternoon of January 29,1 and thus take part in the carnivals on January 30 and February 1.
