Further information regarding tho wreck of the Delhi shows that tho Princess Royal asked tho Essery family, Doctor M'Caul, Mr. Bell, a passenger, Mr. Halkett, a caricaturist, to accompany tho party. When the boat swamped ' the Princess Alexandra, Mr. Bell, and Mr. Halkett were swept overboard. Tho Dtike of Fife and tho Princess Royal seized the Princess Maud as tho boat capsized, and, with the Admiral, they were washed shorcwards. Meanwhile Mr. 801 l caught hold of Princess Alexandra, and swam with her until ho secured a foothold, and bluejackets assisted them ashore. Princess Alexandra fainted on landing. Mr: Esscry and Mr. Halkett had tho narrowest escapes. The Delhi's mails and luggage are baing landed, and the salvors hope to save the ship. Qncen Alexandra has given .£IOO for the relief of the victims from the French cruiser Briant, which went to the Delhi's assistance.
