As ho was ascending tho hatchway ladder at dinner time, ft wooden hatch cover fell fom tho deck, and struck him on the head. His scull was badly fractured, and ho was removed to the Cottage Hospital in a critical condition. Mr. Craig.is a widower, 51 years of age, and has a family of five or six.
