Dr. Norman MacLeod, Principal Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. [The deceased was born _in 1635, aud was educated <il Glasgow University. Ho became minister of St. Columba's parish, Glasgow, in 16G1 and afterwards held various charges until 1906 when ho resigned his parochial charge.]
