THE AUSTRALIAN TARIFF.
RECIPROCITY URGED. By Telegraph—Pross Association— CopyriEht (Roc. December 13, 1.5 a.m.) Melbourne, December 12. Tho House of Representatives is discussing the tariff. Sir William Lyne advocated a reciprocal tariff with Canada, but not an agreement such as Sir Wilfrid Laurier had suggested to him, that would injure Australian manufacturers. He added that a good reciprocal agreement could probably be got with New Zealand.
