At the Supremo Court on Saturday a taxi-cab chauffeur, named John Williim Merior, was acquitted on a charge of manslnujrhter in connection with Hie death of Charles Goldsmith at Epsom on October fl. Tho jury did not retire, and prisoner was at ouco discharged.
