W.A.A.C. MEETING.
An advertisement appears in this issue drawing attention to the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club's summer meet-, ing, to be held at the Basin Reserve next Saturday. Excellent entries have been received', including those'of the local representatives, of the New Zealand team for'the Australasian championships, and those of several aspirants for final selection. In addition to the Now Zealand representatives, L. ll'Kay and A. Hisset, the entrants include V. X. Hill. oV Auckland—the one and throe-mile champion, of New Zealand—and a larue contingent of Wiararapa athletes. Hill has definitely notified his intention to compete, and will endeavour to beat the Xew Zealand record of Mmin. IPsce. for the three-mile Bα*.-
