FREIGHT SERVICE ON FRIDAY.

Commencing on Friday next, a freight car will leave. Lambton 'Station for Lyall Bay 011 week days (holidays excepted) in accordarace pjth the following time-table: Morning Delivery—Lambton Station, depart 10.30 a.m.; Courtenay Place, depart 11 a.m. Afternoon Delivery.—Lambton Station, depart -1 p.m.; Courtenay Place, depart 4.30 p.m.

Two city receiving depots will be established, one at the Thorndon tramway office, opposite Lambton Statioa, ami tho other at the premises of Messrs. Cording and Sous, Courtenay Place. Arrangements hive also been made with business people in the Kilbirnio district—Mr. &• W. Cope, storekeeper. Moxham Avenue; Mr. Easton, storekeeper, Wellington Road; and the Tea Rooms, Lyall Bay terminus--to receive, and. if necessary, to deliver, within a limited area, packages fo-rwarded from tho city depots. The scale of charges for conveying goods to depat-s Only will be as follows:— For every package not exceeding 281b. weight. Id.,- exceeding 2Slb. weight but not exceeding 361b., 6d.; exceeding 561b. but not exceeding 1121b., 3d. An additional charge of id. per package will be made for delivering any package (not exceeding 561b. in weight) to any address in the Kilbirnie district. Every package must bear a label stating the name and -'litres of the consisnca.
