Vicc-Admiral Sir G. A. Callaghan has been appointed to tho command of tho Homo Fleet, and Rear-Admiral Cecil Burney to tho command of the Atlantic Fleet. It is presumed that these changes indicate that Mr. Winston Churchill desires to begin tho reorganisation of tho Navy, including tho creation of a naval war staff with advisers of recent sea experience. The King offered Admiral Sir A. K. Wilson a Peerage, and he was allowed to decline for personal reasons.
