...THE ICE'CREAM .TROUBLE, A meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council was held last evening. Present: l'he-llayor (Air. 15. P. A deputation of firemen waited upon tho coupsil asking them to take over the custody of the shield won by them nt the.:recent competitions. -The .Mayor, in informing tho deputation that a "resolution- agreeing to the proposal had alreadybeen cot'!»!. congratulated tho firemen on their efficienejr.
