THE SEAMEN'S AWARD.
OWNERS HAVE XO ALTERATIVE. By TeleEra.ph-Prcas Association-CoßyriEht Sydney, November 27. A meeting of the Steam Ship Owners' Association will shortly discuss tho scarnon's award. A leading shipowner has declared that the owners will have no alternative but to accept it. It will bo very awkward and difficult to conduct disciplino under tho now conditions if practicable at all. Another states that a probable result of tho award will be a raising of freights and fares.
