AT FEATHERSTON

Tbo Spring Show of the l r eatbcrston Horticultural Society was held on Thursday. All tho classes woro well filled except swonl; peas, which had suffered through rccent windy weather. Rows were largely shown in all varieties. Mrs. C. It. Bidwill was awarded Iho special prizo for the best rose in tho room—a "Mildred Grant," and also secured tho Buchanan Bowl for most points in this class. Out of cloven decorated tables, Mrs. H. T. Wood, of Masterton, won both first and second prizes. Although tho day was stormy the attendance was llot affectcd.
