HUTT ROSE SHOW.
OPENS TO-DAY. An event of interest which occurs in Hutt Valley every year is the rose show of the district Horticultural Society. Although the weather bos been rather against the promoters this year, there is still abundant prospects of a. brilliant display. All lovers of roses should mako a point of visiting tho show, as the promoters promise that somo of tho finest blooms ever ssen iu the Valley will be exhibited. The show is to be formally nnened bv tho Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. M. Wilford. at' 3 p.m. to-dav. in the King George Theatre, Lower Hutt.
