.STAR CLUB'S LADIES' FOURS. ■ The Star Club's Ladies' Fours wore rowed at Kalwarfa "on "Saturday afternoon under rather boisterous conditions. 'The heats iu this race proved very interesting, there being some very close finishes. T'te. following are the results:— C. E. Holmes defeated C. E. Bridge; Tumbull defeated W. H. Brewer j Wallace defeated Dingle; Dean defeated Abbercrombie; Bedford defeated Alexander; Littlo defeated R. 11. Erewor. .; Semi-finals: Holmes defeated TurnhfiU; Dean defeated 'Wallace: Littlo defeated Holmes; Bedford defeated .Dean. Final: Little (stroke), Carr (0). M'Master (2), M'Kay (bow) defeated Bedford stroke), U. t Johnston (3), Stewart (2), Mitchell (bow). Bedford's crew rbived to a gaiho finish, but thoy were tired owing to the previous hard race with Dean.-,
