An American has arranged an indestructible .phonograph record in combination with a loud-speaking telephone instrument on his motor-ear. A touch of the chauffeur's button causes this noisemaking mechanism to hurl the name of the car or other desired phrase at obstructive persons who dare to venture in his path. Ninety per cent, of the cycles imported into Japan are supplied by British manufacturers.
