M 7?. MASSEY AT OAMARU. ANOTHER, SUCCESSFUL MEETING. IBy Telegraph.—Press Association.) Oainaru, November 20. Mr. Massey, Leader of the Opposition, addressed a packed meeting in the Opera House to-night, in reply to Sir Joseph Ward, who spoke on Salurday night. The Kegimental Hand played a welcome. Mr. .Massey was suffering from a very bad colli, and his voice was sometimes hardly audible. He had a splendid reception, ami spoke along the lines of his previous speeches, his remarks meeting with frequent bursts of applause. At the conclusion of his address the following motion was carried by a forest of hands:— "That this meeting conveys a very hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Massey for his excellent address, and, in tho opinion of this community, considers that tho time has arrived when it is necessary to have a change of Government in the best interests of this Dominion."
