(Before Mr. W. G. Hiddell, S.M.) For insobriety Thomas Leonard was fined £1, Francis Nelson .SI, llobcrt Davis 10s., nnd Peter Mulcahy ,£l. For breaking prohibition orders Annio Murdoch was fined £2, and Alfred Gibson Gunson £2. Francis Charles Diamond was prohibited. JameA Alexander Japp was sentenced to 11 days' imprisonment i'or disobedience of a maintenance order. Thomas Henry Bransgrovo was fentented to 21 days' imprisonment l'or disobedience of a maintenance order. On the payment of the arrears the defendant is to be released. Phillip Herbert William Ogier was ordered to pay ss. a week, and Charles Osier, to pay Is. a week, towards their father's support. John William Campbell was sentenced to ono month's imprisonment for having stolen a bicycle, valued at J!2, the property of Albert Stick. CIVIL BUSINESS. (Before Dr M'Arthur, S.M.) Trillo and Monat, engineers, Wellington, sued T. M'Dowell; leather merchant, Wellington, for Sl\ - Cs. for bootmaking machines stated to have been sold to defendant by plaintiffs. Mr. E. J. I'itzgibbon appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr. C. R. Dix for the delendant. Tho defendant contended that the machines were not altogether satisfactory. Judgment was for the plaintiffs for tho amount claimed and costs.
