ADDEESS BY MR. FIELD. Mr. W. H. Field, Government candi-. date for Ot&ki, addressed a. largo meeting of electors on Saturday night in tho Koikorangi schoolroom, Air. G. A. Monk being in tho chair. Mr. Field was listened to very attentively throughout his address, which was mainly on tho same lines of his previous addresses in other parts of tho electorate. At the conclusion of his speech a hearty vote of thanks and confidence in Mr. Field and tho Government was proposed by Mr. ,T. T. Kent, seconded by Mr. A. Ncilsou, and carried.' The following motion was put: "That all in tho room form themselves into a committee to try and secure Jlr. Field's return," This was carried unanimously. Tho usual vote to the chairman closcd the meeting.
