DETAILS OF COMMANDER BRINE'S DEATH. By Telocraph—Press Aesoct'itlon-OoDTrlsht London, November 17. Further jnformation concerning the death of Commander Fiedcrick G. Brine, who was' washed overboard from the battleship St. Vincer.t in the English Channel during a gale, shows tliat two of the St. Vincent's liftbonts mado a gallant effort to rescue the unfortunate officer. A tremendous sea was running, but the whole of the crew volunteered to man the boats. Commnnder Brine made n great strugglo for life. Ho was dead when picked up.
