FATAL ACCIDENT AT A SHOW.
A YOUNG GIRL KILLED. (By Telccrnnli.— Press Association,) Whangarei, November Iβ. A tragic incident brought; People's Bay at the Whnngnrci A. and P. show to on abrupt close ut four o'clock this afternooii. Polly Weaver, fifteen years old, Hie daughter of Mr. Harry Weaver, exMayor, was killed almost instantaneously when taking part, in the event for ladv riders over hurdles. The horso struck the top hurdle, turned a somersault, and fell with the girl directly underneath. All tho other events and (ho judges' supper to-night vrero abandoned.
