Tho Leader of tho Opposition (Mr. Wade) was absent from tho Legislative Assembly when a motion to rescind tho motion suspending Mr. Wood for defying the Speaker was called on. Uo endeavoured to discuss the matter later, but was ruled out of order. Mr. Griffith (Minister for Works) appealed to tho Speaker to allow Mr. Wade a hearing, but Mr. Willis declined to do so.
