Tho arts and crafts of the Maori race was tho subject of an interesting lecture given to a large meeting of members of tho Manawatu Philosophical Society on Friday night by Mr. A. Hamilton, curator of tho Wellington Museum. Captain Hewitt presided, and at the conclusion of the address Mr. Hamilton was accorded a hearty voto of thanks. Messrs.
