RAILWAYS IN FRANCE.
PROTEST AGAINST LEGISLATION. Bj Teleeraph—Press Association—OopTrt-ctal Paris, November 12. Five of the leading railway companies have protested against tho Government Bill providing for (State nominations of directors and submission of wages rates for State approval. Tho companies dcclnrc that tho Bill removes tho management from them, but leaves them the responsibility. They demand Stato acquisition of the lines if (he Bill is passed.
