STEAMER MACLEAY WRECK.
By TelegrMjb—Press Association—Coprrlsht Sydney, November 9. An inquiry regarding the wreck, on October 11, of the steamer Macleay, at Broughton Island, has been opened. The evidence adduced so far.was to the effect that the steamer was well-found. Her compass had been adjusted shortly before tho last voyage. The night was black and dark when the vessel struck.
