DISSATISFIED WELSH SETTLERS.
A CHANGE DESIRED. fiy Tolecraph—Press Association—Copyright Frsmantle, November 9. A gentleman representing tho Welsh colony which settled in Patagonia many years ago, and now numbering four thousand, arrived by tho steamer Opawa to make inquiries, with a view'to the whole colony coming to Australia. He states that the conditions in Patagonia have becomo so uncertain and uncongenial that the colonists wished to transfer their energies to another country. The colonists were specialists in irrigation, and intended to put their knowledge into use in conjunction with dairying.
