Tho elections for the Hutt County Council woro held yesterday. For the Epiini Riding Mr. Maurice White Welch had previously been declared elected unopposed, and Mr. John Wakeham had been in liko manner elected for tho Wainui-o-mala Riding. Tho polling for tho various ridings resulted as follows:— Mungaroa. As a result of tho liakara County elections, four of the sitting councillors wero elected, and Messrs. 1 , . 11. Hawkins (Makara riding), and P.
